Cancellation & Refund Policy

 

At OAK Business Solutions, we value transparency and fairness in all our client relationships. This Return & Cancellation Policy is designed to clarify client rights and our obligations under Ontario law. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Refunds

  • Because our services involve the allocation of time, expertise, and resources, all completed services are non-refundable.
     
  • Refunds are only available if OAK Business Solutions has not yet begun work on your project or engagement.
     
  • If a deposit or retainer has been paid and services have already commenced, that portion is considered earned and non-refundable.
     

2. Cancellations by the Client

  • Clients may cancel a service agreement by providing written notice to OAK Business Solutions.
     
  • If cancellation occurs before any work has started, the client is entitled to a refund of any advance payments made, minus any administrative fees disclosed in the agreement.
     
  • If cancellation occurs after services have begun, the client is responsible for payment of all work performed up to the cancellation date.
     
  • Ongoing or recurring service contracts require 10 days written notice for cancellation, unless otherwise stated in the signed agreement.
     

3. Cancellations by OAK Business Solutions

  • We reserve the right to cancel an engagement in cases of non-payment, breach of agreement, misuse of our services, or any other justifiable reason that our team sees fit.
     
  • In such cases, the client will remain responsible for any outstanding amounts owed for services already provided.
     

4. Consumer Rights (Ontario Law)

This policy is subject to applicable consumer protection laws, including the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit rights you may have under that legislation.
